It was during the Melbourne lockdown of 2020 when Naomi and Brett’s shopfitting business ground to a halt. Rather than wallow in their sorrows, the husband and wife team looked outward, to see how they could utilise their decades of building experience to help those in less fortunate situations.
Concerned by the rising rates of domestic violence during the pandemic, and the ongoing lack of suitable housing for communities affected by the 2019-20 bushfire season, Rescue Residences was born. Their aim was to provide immediate emergency accommodation to those who need it most.
Rescue Residences is not only a solution for some of the most vulnerable people in our community, but also an appealing alternative for first home buyers looking to enter an inflated housing market.
Brett and Naomi have used their 24 years of construction experience, along with their network of local qualified trades to create their architecturally designed, transportable, modular homes. With a passion for quality and a customer focused approach, they treat every build as if it was their own.
